LIVE IN PRESENT AND NOT IN PAST OR FUTURE

Almost all spiritual gurus are preaching us to live in PRESENT and not in PAST or FUTURE. I totally agree with them and try to enjoy in what i possess and not what i don't have or should have. It certainly makes my daily life very happy and contended. But i wonder why do we keep talking about our next life (ie future) and Ram & Krishna (ie past). Our present is entirely different. It's a democratic, secular free country now and people need freedom of thoughts and speach.

  4. Fixing: it gets bigger,murkier---headline in TOI dated 31st august 2010(ahmedabad)
Match-fixing by pakistan players and bookies has become a hot news of the world. We are all talking about it and asking for most severe punishment to those involved.
I fully support this view of common man so that in future it will not be repeated and the image of CRICKET popularly known as 'gentleman's game' will be revived back and will not be tarnished any further.

Shouldn't we coin a similar term for our politicians ( MP's & their chelas) after witnessing the most annoying and dirty performance of 'Commonwealth Games operating committee' and mind boggling terrorist like action of MP's to fix their own salaries as per their will. HOW ABOUT CALLING IT NATION-FIXING AND DEMAND A SIMILAR PUNISHMENT TO THOSE INVOLVED EXACTLY ON THE LINES OF MATCH FIXING PUNISHMENTS. WHY CAN'T OUR POLITICIANS BE DEBARRED FROM ELECTIONS.
